1993, Mrs. Lindenburg announced her new theory that the location
for'The Little Street' was on 19-20, Voldersgracht. Her speculation
was that Vermeer may have painted the two houses from the rear
window of the Mechelen Inn.The family have lived in The Mechelen
house since he was 9years old.
